Welcome to the KRS Open: A Gathering for Music Business Students

The KRS Open returns for its second year in Kristiansand, Norway, as an exclusive, invite-only event designed specifically for music business students. With a format that encourages open dialogue and anonymity under Chatham House Rule, the KRS Open creates a safe space for attendees to discuss the music industry’s most pressing topics without fear of attribution.

This year’s event spans two days, bringing together 40-50 master’s students from across Europe, faculty, and a select few industry guests. The format includes presentations, guided workshops (referred to as "Hive Minds"), group discussions, and collaborative conclusions. Seating is arranged in a horseshoe or United Nations-style setup to facilitate engagement and foster an inclusive environment.
