CreaTeME Lab Opening at Kraftverk 16.09.26 // A space built to bring sound, technology and creativity together
The CreaTeME lab is a space for immersive sound which is unique in the world because it makes the highest quality technology accessible as a learning environment. It is a major milestone in achieving CreaTeME’s goal of making Kristiansand an international hub for innovative, inclusive, and responsible use of technology in higher music education.
The opening centres on The Logos, a sound installation by Andrew Melchior, presented together with Thomas Lund of Genelec. This sound installation was developed for a cathedral in the 2026 European Capital of Culture and has been specially adapted for the CreaTeME lab.
