“Just sign,” said the robot
More and more people are using artificial intelligence to assist with contracts and agreements. But can you really trust the advice you get?
The MusiKI project started with the goal of developing an AI tool that could analyze recording contracts and provide musicians with guidance based on Norwegian law. However, it has proven more challenging than expected to make the technology offer reliable and sound advice.
During “Just sign, said the robot”, Siri-Helen Egeland from the University of Agder shows examples of responses from MusiKI – and the pitfalls that can arise when AI interprets legal agreements.
The presentation is followed by a discussion between Egeland, AI professor Morten Goodwin, and Marius Øvrebø-Engemoen, lawyer and CEO of GramArt. Lasse W. Fosshaug from GramArt will moderate the conversation.
This program session takes place on Thursday, September 10 at 12:30 PM in Dansens Hus 2. It is presented by GramArt in collaboration with the Music Office SØRF and CreaTeME.
Sørlandet Meet-up at Fyrhuset Kuba
On Thursday, September 10, the Music Office SØRF is gathering artists and industry professionals connected to Sørlandet for a Sørlandet meet-up.
There will be informal mingling, simple food and drinks — and live music.
The meet-up is hosted at Fyrhuset Kuba from 15:00-17:00. It is free and open both to those with roots or ties to Sørlandet and to anyone curious about the music scene in the region.
At the Sørlandet meet-up, you can also meet the 25 students from UiA and CreaTeME who are traveling from Sørlandet to by:Larm.
