New Podcast episode from Steinar Jeffs: Nils Petter Molvær: Improvisation, Technology, and the Pursuit of a Personal Expression

In this episode (In Norwegian) we are introduced to Nils Petter Molvær. He is a Norwegian jazz trumpeter, composer, and producer, and is regarded as a pioneer in merging jazz and electronic music. He has received numerous awards, including four Spellemann prizes as a solo artist and three as a member of the band Masqualero.
Molvær talks in this episode about how he combines jazz with electronic and ambient elements, and how improvisation and technology have shaped his unique sound. He reflects on music’s ability to communicate across languages and how he creates an expression that mirrors his personal identity as a musician.
