CreaTeME Lab Event #3: 
Hosted at BARE Studenthus on November 14, 2023, this event featured a solo performance by Bugge Wesseltoft, followed by a talk and Q&A led by Alessandra Bossa.

In two videos from the event, Wesseltoft shares his thoughts on combining acoustic and electronic elements in music and reflects on the importance of developing a distinct artistic sound. The videos also include excerpts from his performances of “Turner” and “Sender.”

Since the early 1990s, Bugge Wesseltoft has made a remarkable transition from his ECM Nordic jazz collaborations—with Jan Garbarek, Sidsel Endresen, Terje Rypdal, Nils Petter Molvær, and Jon Eberson—to forming the groundbreaking group New Conception of Jazz, founding the label Jazzland Recordings, and the trio Rymden. Wesseltoft is a highly acclaimed artist known for creating a unique, fresh blend of “modern jazz”.
