We are seeking participants for the research project

“How can physical training affect musical performance, as well as physical and mental health?”


Are you a student in the performing arts at the Department of Popular Music or the Department of Classical Music and Music Education and interested in participating in an exciting research project? If so, please read on 

As part of CreaTeME’s activities, and in collaboration with the Department of Sports Science and Physical Education at UiA, we are looking for participants for a research project on how physical training can influence musical performance, as well as physical and mental health.

The project period runs from February to April 2025.


What does participation involve?

As a participant, you must commit to an 8-week customized training program, including pre- and post-tests.


What we expect from you:

Active participation throughout the entire period, completing 3 training sessions per week

Completion of the planned tests during the project period

Logging your training sessions and your personal experiences of how the training affects your musical performance
