Presenting The Speakers

Sigurd Nyborg 

 

Sigurd Nyborg is a seasoned entrepreneur with a deep understanding of commercialization and product development. As former CEO of Backr, a subscription-based platform designed to revolutionize the connection between artists and their fans, Sigurd is at the forefront of the fan economy. His expertise in creating sustainable income models for creators and understanding of fan behavior makes him a valuable voice on this topic.

Marte Grave Isaksen

 

Isaksen is a project manager at Musikkontoret Sørf, where she works with communication and project development to support the music industry in Southern Norway. She has extensive experience with funding strategies and application writing, both as an applicant and a grant administrator. At Sørf, she is the administrator for the Rytmisk Satsing funding program and the Sparebanken Sør Musikkpris, giving her deep insight into how funding processes work from the inside.

 

For several years, Marte has also guided regional industry professionals through the complex landscape of grants and funding opportunities, helping them secure financial support for their projects.

Andy Inglis

 

CEO and Founder of 5000 management, Andy’s career started in Scotland in 1990, DJing and running raves. He began managing bands and small electronic labels, moving to London in 1997 to continue the work. In 2005 he co-founded The Luminaire (a live music venue) winning London Venue of The Year and UK Venue of The Year in the first two years. He booked Quart – Norway’s biggest and oldest music festival, co-founded Sørveiv Music Summit and The KRS Open conference in Kristiansand, lectures internationally, and supports mentoring initiatives to help young artists and managers find their way in the music industries.
