PUNKT SEMINAR

The renowned Punkt Seminar, held at the striking Kunstsilo in Kristiansand, continues its tradition in 2025 as a vital part of the Punkt Festival. Once again, the seminar will be curated and led by David Toop, a celebrated figure in experimental music and sound art.

This year’s program features presentations and performances by a distinguished lineup of artists, including Mariam Rezaei, Oren Ambarchi, crys cole, Sofia Jernberg & Alexander Hawkins, Makoto Oshiro, and Kate Carr.

The Punkt Seminar is a space for curiosity and conversation, where artists and audiences come together to explore cutting-edge ideas in sound, art, and technology. It runs alongside the festival’s concerts and live remixes, offering a deeper dive into the creative processes and concepts that shape contemporary music and performance.

As part of Punkt’s collaboration with CreaTeME—the University of Agder’s Centre for Excellence in Creative Use of Technologies in Music Education—the seminar promises to be a space for inspiration, innovation, and interdisciplinary exchange.
